I bought this product back in December and used it regularly for about five months before it broke without warning. Pretty dangerously too— I was stepping as usual and a big part of the mechanism under the steps just snapped right off, and I pulled a muscle due to the sudden lack of resistance. I’m 140 pounds– there was no excuse for this breakage. Cheap parts are the only possible reason. I tried to contact the company by e-mail and by phone with no response, so ultimately I just had to throw the thing a way. What a waste…
